2. How to Configure a Base Appointment Record

To configure a new Base Appointment, go to: Base Appointment Menu → New Base Appointment

Enter all the required patient and procedure details, then Save the record.

Dental Management Software

After saving the Base Appointment, a custom button “Create Patient Procedure” appears.

  • If there is one line in the Procedure table → One Patient Procedure is created.
  • If there are multiple lines → Multiple Patient Procedures are created.
  • Each Patient Procedure is automatically generated based on the Procedure table lines.
Odontology Management for Frappe

Inside the created Patient Procedure records, users get two custom buttons:

  • Running – Marks the procedure as In Progress.
  • Create Invoice – Generates billing for the procedure.

After submitting the Patient Procedure record, the status automatically changes to Completed.

Reports

The app provides a Base Appointment Report where users can easily view and analyze each patient’s appointment records.

Each dental procedure can be linked to a patient, physician, department, and pricing structure. Invoices can be generated directly from confirmed procedures.
Is odontogram (tooth chart) supported?
Yes. The module supports tooth-level documentation including surface details, treatment history, and status tracking.
Can appointments be linked to procedures?
Yes. Dental appointments can be directly connected to procedures and treatment plans for streamlined workflow.
