Invoice Geolocation
Location Tracking for Smarter Sales Invoice Management
The Invoice Geolocation feature automatically captures the user's location when a Sales Invoice is created in ERPNext. It records latitude and longitude coordinates, helping organizations verify invoice origins, improve audit transparency, and gain valuable location-based business insights.
π Key Features
Enhance invoice management with Invoice Geolocation.
Automatic Location Capture
Automatically records latitude and longitude coordinates when a Sales Invoice is created.
Google Maps Integration
Open the captured invoice location directly in Google Maps using the dedicated button.
Invoice Origin Verification
Verify the exact location where a Sales Invoice was generated for better transparency.
Audit Support
Strengthen audit and compliance processes with accurate location records.
Location-Based Analytics
Analyze sales activities across regions using recorded invoice geolocation data.
ERPNext Integration
Seamlessly integrated with the ERPNext Sales Invoice workflow without changing existing processes.
How to Use Invoice Geolocation
1. Create a Sales Invoice :-
Create a new Sales Invoice as usual in ERPNext. Once the invoice is created, the system requests location access from the browser. After permission is granted, the current latitude and longitude coordinates are automatically captured and stored with the invoice.Β
2. Access the Location Information :-
The captured coordinates are stored within the Sales Invoice document and can be reviewed at any time. A Google Map button is available on the invoice form for quick access to the recorded location.
3. View the Location on Google Maps :-
Click the Google Map button to open the captured coordinates directly in Google Maps. This allows users to verify the invoice creation location and review geographical information associated with the transaction.
