Radiology App helps laboratories manage radiology test requests, results, and reports in an organized and structured way.

It enables lab staff to record patient details, assign radiology tests, update results, track materials used, and generate professional printable reports.

How to Use the Radiology App

Step 1: Configure Radiology Test
Go to: Radiology Tests Menu → New Radiology Test
Add all required test details and save.

Step 2: Create Radiology Group
Go to: Radiology Group Menu → New Radiology Group
Select radiology tests in the tests table and create a group.

Step 3: Create Radiology Request
Navigate to: Radiology Request Menu → New Radiology Request

Fill in details such as:

  • Patient
  • Prescribing Doctor
  • Date
  • Lines Table or Test Group
Two ways to add tests:
  • Select a Radiology Group in the Test Group field
  • Or select individual tests in the Lines table


Hospital Radiology Management

After saving, a custom button “Accept Radiology Request” appears. On clicking it, a confirmation message is shown. Once accepted, another button appears to Create Invoice.

Radiology Management System

After submitting the Radiology Request, a custom button “Create Radiology Test Result” appears.

  • If one test is in the request → One test result is created
  • If two tests are in the request → Two test results are created

Each test result is created based on the test lines.

At the end, users can view and print reports for:

  • Radiology Request
  • Radiology Test Result

Using the Print / Print Preview option available in each document.

How does the Radiology workflow function?
The workflow follows: Radiology Test → Radiology Group → Radiology Request → Radiology Test Result → Invoice.
Can radiology reports be printed?
Yes. The app allows generation of professional printable radiology reports directly from the Radiology Request.
Does it track materials used in tests?
Yes. Each radiology test can track consumed materials, which helps in stock deduction and cost analysis.
Is it integrated with ERPNext?
Yes. The Radiology App integrates with Patients, Accounts, Stock, and Invoicing modules of ERPNext.
Can the workflow be customized?
Yes. Workflow stages, report formats, and material configuration can be customized as per lab requirements.
