Website Product Availability
The Website Product Availability module enables businesses to automatically determine and display whether a product is available in a customer's country, enhancing the shopping experience and reducing order limitations.
Product Configuration :-
Navigate to website > eCommerce menu section > Click on Product section.
Country Selection :-
Navigate to product and select product.
Open sale submenu section and enable available only specific countries checkbox and enter countries.
Product Details on Website :-
Here the country will be checked by geoip, and accordingly a warning message or available product will be shown.
GeoIP Configuration :-
Sign up or log in to MaxMind, then go to the "Download Database" section and download the GeoLite2 City file.
Upload the extracted .mmdb file to your server and move it to the /usr/share/GeoIP/ directory using:nmv /home/ubuntu/GeoLite2-City.mmdb /usr/share/GeoIP/
Open Odoo Configuration File, Run the following command to open the configuration file:- sudo nano /etc/odoo12-server.conf
Add Database Path- Add the following line in the configuration file:- geoip_database = /usr/share/GeoIP/GeoLite2-City.mmdb
