Website Order Question/Answer (Checklist)

Website Order Question/Answer (Checklist) module enhances the Odoo website checkout process by enabling businesses to capture detailed, product-specific information from customers before order confirmation. It supports multiple question types, including text fields, dropdowns, radio buttons, checkboxes, and file uploads, providing full flexibility in designing dynamic checklists. All submitted responses are automatically linked to the Sale Order and seamlessly transferred to associated project tasks, ensuring accurate data collection and a streamlined workflow.

To set up the Order Checklist in Odoo, follow these steps:

1. Navigate to the Website App:
   From the Odoo dashboard, go to the Website module.
2. Access Configuration Menu:
   In the Website module, click the Configuration menu located in the top navigation bar.
3. Open Settings:
   From the dropdown, select Settings to access the Order Checklist options.
4. Enable Order Checklist:
   Navigate to Order Checklist section and Enable the Order Checklist checkbox to activate the feature.
5. Save Changes:
   Click Save to apply the configuration.
6. Configure Checklist:
   Click on Manage Checklist button to configure checklist. From here, you can create or edit questions and answers.

You can also access the Order Checklist from the back-end. Open the Website app and click on the Configuration menu. Then Select the Order Checklist option from the dropdown to view and manage all checklist items. From here, you can create or edit checklist questions and answers.

Click the Create button to add new checklist Questions.

Choose the appropriate question type and configure the required details.

In the checklist form view, you can create Questions of multiple types and can also assign them to a specific website.

Each question can be configured with a suitable type, and options such as available answers or placeholders can be set depending on the type.

Enabling the Required Answer option makes a question mandatory, ensuring that users must complete it during checkout.

1. Access eCommerce Menu:
   In the Website module, click the eCommerce menu located in the top navigation bar.
2. Open Products:
   From the dropdown, select Products to view and manage website products.
3. Enable Is Order Checklist:
   In the product form, enable the Is Order Checklist checkbox. The checklist tab will appear after this option is activated.
4. Add Questions:
   Now, open checklist tab and add questions for the product.

Open the website shop and add products to the cart.

Fill in the answers for the checklist questions and upload any required digital documents.

Click on the attached documents to preview the uploaded digital files.

When a sale order is created from the website, the checklist tab in the order displays all the answers submitted by the customer.

Users can view and download any files uploaded in the checklist by clicking on the corresponding records, ensuring all relevant documents are readily accessible.

When a task is created from a sale order, all answers from the sale order checklist are included in the task description, and any uploaded files are automatically attached to the task, allowing users to view and download them directly.
