Odoo-Trello Connector

The Odoo- Trello Connector module enables users to connect their Trello account with their Odoo database. With this module, users can fetch projects, tasks, and stages directly from Trello into Odoo. It also allows seamless synchronization of projects from Odoo to Trello. With just a few clicks, users can create and manage Trello projects directly from within Odoo itself.

Navigate to Settings and click on Users & Companies.

Open a user record and go to the Trello Project Management tab.

Enter the Trello credentials.

The Trello API Key can be generated by clicking on "How to get Trello API Key?".

Click on the Power-Up Admin Portal link to open trello workspace

Navigate to Power-Ups and Integrations.

Click on odoo to generate API Key.

Click on API Key menu, the API Key and secret code is generated.

Add the generated API Key and Token in setting.

Click on Get User ID.

Enter the Trello username (the name that appears after the @ sign).

Odoo will then fetch all the projects, tasks, and stages associated with the configured user.

The User ID can be obtained by clicking on Get User ID.

Navigate to the Project menu and create a project.

Next, create a task within the project.

Enter the task name, verify that the project is already selected, and then assign the task to another user.

Now, we'll open Extra Info tab and enable Odoo to Trello checkbox.

Then open Action and click on Create Into Trello button.

When you click the Create Into Trello button, a pop-up window will appear.

Click the Confirm button to proceed.

A warning message will appear because the configured user and the assigned user are different.

Now, change the assigned user from the other user to the configured user for the task.

Then, click the Create Into Trello button again and confirm the action. The project will be synced from Odoo to Trello.

Now, we'll open Trello and check our project.

Here we have no task in our projects.

Now we'll open trello and create a task in trello and open task.

Then we'll enter the task details in Description field and enter the comments in Activity field.

Then, open a user record and update all projects, tasks, and stages by clicking the Update Trello Projects button.

Now we'll open our projects and task are automatially created.

Then open a task and check all the details about the task.

Now, open the Extra Info tab. It contains two checkboxes:

1. Odoo to Trello – Uploads projects from Odoo to Trello.

2. Trello to Odoo – Automatically fetches projects from Trello into Odoo.
