ClickSend SMS Gateway

ClickSend SMS Gateway module allows to send SMS with ClickSend SMS Gateway in odoo.

Navigate to Settings and click on the General Settings menu.

Scroll to the Contacts section and in the Send SMS select Send via Clicksend option

Click the Save button to apply ClickSend as the SMS provider

After enabling ClickSend as the SMS provider, click on the Configure ClickSend Account button.

This will open the ClickSend configuration pop-up, where you can enter your account credentials.

To set up the ClickSend Account, follow the steps below:

1. SMS Provider:
   The Send via ClickSend option will be automatically selected as the default SMS provider.
2. Add Credentials:
   Enter your ClickSend credentials including Username, API Key, and From Mobile Number.
3. Test Mobile Number:
   Add a Test Mobile Number with the country code to verify the configuration.
4. Balance:
   View your available ClickSend Balance.
5. Send Test SMS:
   Click on Send Test SMS to validate the credentials. If the configuration is correct, a test SMS will be sent successfully.
6. Save Changes:
   Click Save to store the ClickSend account details.

Once configured, SMS messages will be sent using ClickSend as the SMS gateway.

After configuring the ClickSend credentials, click the Send SMS button to send messages. When you click on the Send SMS button, a pop-up window will open.

You can send messages to a single contact, multiple contacts, SMS groups, channels, Phone number.

Here, the SMS Provider will be automatically selected based on the default SMS provider.

Select Contact in the Send To option. The contact field will appear automatically. Choose a contact from the list. The selected contact must have a valid mobile number.

Enter your message in the Message field.

Click the Send button to send the SMS using ClickSend. The SMS will be delivered to the selected contact through the configured ClickSend SMS Gateway.

Select Multiple Contacts in the Send To option. The multiple contacts field will appear automatically. Choose one or more contacts from the list. The selected contacts must have valid mobile numbers.

Enter your message in the Message field.

Click the Send button to send the SMS using ClickSend. The SMS will be delivered to the selected contacts through the configured ClickSend SMS Gateway.

Select SMS Group in the Send To option. The SMS Group field will appear automatically. Choose a SMS group from the list. The SMS will be sent to all recipients included in the selected SMS group.

Enter your message in the Message field.

Click the Send button to send the SMS using ClickSend. The SMS will be delivered to the selected recipients through the configured ClickSend SMS Gateway.

Select Channel in the Send To option. The Channel field will appear automatically. Choose a channel from the list. The SMS will be sent to all members included in the selected channel.

Enter your message in the Message field.

Click the Send button to send the SMS using ClickSend. The SMS will be delivered to the selected members through the configured ClickSend SMS Gateway.

Select Phone in the Send To option to send an SMS directly to a phone number. The Phone field will appear automatically. Enter the phone number along with the country code. The provided phone number must be a valid phone number.

Enter your message in the Message field.

Click the Send button to send the SMS using ClickSend. The SMS will be delivered to the specified phone number through the configured ClickSend SMS Gateway.

To view SMS history, first enable Developer Mode from the Developer Tools in the Settings menu. After enabling Developer Mode, go to Settings, then Technical, then go to Phone/SMS section and click on SMS. Here, you can view the complete history of all SMS messages, including delivered and failed messages.
