Product Personalization Editor
The Product Personalization module allows customers to customize products directly from the product details page.
A "Customize" button is added to products, which opens an interactive editor where customers can:
- Upload or set logos, images, or artwork.
- Add and edit custom text with different fonts, sizes, and colors.
- Position, resize, and rotate elements on the product preview (e.g., t-shirts, mugs, or other customizable items).
Once the personalization is complete, the customized product can be added to the cart.
The module ensures that the personalized design is saved and linked to the corresponding sale order line,
allowing easy tracking of customer-specific customizations.
This module is ideal for eCommerce stores offering made-to-order or personalized products.
Note : If we have two side of product we can customize both the side.
- At the top, under the "Product" section, there's an option titled Is Product Personalization, which enables the personalization features when checked. This, in turn, makes the "Personalization" tab visible in the product page for customization purposes.
- When enabled, the user can add logos, text, or other custom elements to the product.
- We can see a tab of "Product Personalization" for configuring images.
- User have option to upload image of back side.
- Upload the front-side image of the product. If the product has a back design, enable the "Has Back Design" option to upload the back-side image as well.
- When enabled, the user can add logos, text, or other custom elements to the product at both the side. if "Has Back Design" is not enabled user can proceed with front design only.

- There is an option called "Is Boundary Enabled." When enabled, it allows users to define a specific boundary area on the product image for customization (such as logos or text). If no boundary is set, the entire image can be used for customization without any restrictions.
- The boundary coordinates, such as Boundary X, Y, Width, and Height, are displayed. These values define the exact area (with X and Y as the starting coordinates and Width and Height as the size of the boundary) where custom elements like logos or text will appear.
- In the image, the boundary values are:
Boundary X: 550
Boundary Y: 300
Boundary Width: 250
Boundary Height: 250
- The user can place logos, text, or other customizations within the defined boundary area and the boundary will be shown in green box in website view to user.

Example: A product can have boundaries set on both the front and back sides. The user may choose to apply a boundary on only one side while allowing unrestricted customization on the other side, or vice versa.
- It also works with variants - we can upload different images for each variant and provide customization options accordingly.
- When the product is enabled for personalization, this button becomes visible. Clicking on it opens the personalization editor
- allowing the customer to customize the product by adding logos, text, or other elements to the T-shirt
When you click the Customization button on the product page, the Personalization Editor opens, allowing you to customize the product before purchase.
In the editor:
- You can add logos, text, icons, shapes, and other design elements.
- The editable area is highlighted (usually by a green border), showing where your design will be placed.
- You have options to customize for both side.
- After customizing we can click add to cart to create order or download option to download images.
