Product Surplus Charge
Product Surplus Charge module is used to Calculate the Price of Product as Per Selected Category and add Surplus Charge to the existing cost of Product. If the User adds a Surplus Charge of Product in Pricelist, after that when User creates quotation and add product in order line, Surplus Charge will be automatically added in sales.
Enable Pricelist
Navigate to Sales and then configuration menu.
Open Settings and enable Pricelist.
Pricelist- Compute price with Fixed price, Percentage, and Formula.
Create Price rule in Pricelist
The user can apply a pricelist to all products, a product category, a specific product, or a product variant.
The user applies the price rule at the product level by selecting the required product.
Set Compute Price as Formula.
Choose the Surge Type as Fixed or Percentage, and then add the surplus charges for the product.
Public Pricelist
Surplus Charges show in Price Rules.
Default Price of Product
Create Quotation
Select the pricelist in which the price rule has been created.
In the order line, select the product that was added to the pricelist rule.
The product price will automatically include the surge charges and will be displayed accordingly in the order line.
Confirm Sale order
After confirming quotation, Delivery order is Created.
When Delivery Order created, Surplus Charges are automatically added along with product price.
Key Features
Users can add surplus charges through pricelists.
Product surplus charges are automatically applied when a quotation is created.
Surplus charges can be applied at multiple levels: All Products, Product Category, Product, Product Variant.
When a delivery order is created, the applicable surplus charges are automatically added.
