Password Validation
The Password Validation module is a useful Odoo add-on that enforces strong password rules during user sign-up and login. Unlike standard Odoo, which does not validate password strength, this module helps improve security by ensuring users create strong and secure passwords.
Navigate to Settings >> General Settings.
Scroll to the User's Section and enable Free sign up in Customer Account.
Navigate to the Sign in Page and click on Don't have an account? option.
You will be redirected to Create account page.
Enter user name.
User will be Prompted to add valid email id.
The pop-up will turn green on entering a valid email id.
The module restricts users from setting passwords that do not meet the defined security criteria.
Passed validations are highlighted in green, while failed checks are shown in red.
A user's password is accepted only after all validation requirements are successfully met.
User can make the password visible/invisible by clicking on the eye icon.
Password and Confirm Password should match.
