Mail Template Multi Company

The Mail Template Multi-Company module allows you to manage separate mail templates for each company and send company-specific emails across all Odoo models. For example, if a customer makes a purchase from Company 1, they will automatically receive the email configured in Company 1's mail template.

To configure email templates for multiple companies, start by navigating to Settings >> Templates. Here, select the option 'Sales: Send Quotation' and assign it to Company 1. You can then customize the template content to match your company's branding and communication style. This ensures that when you send a quotation email, the correct template and company details are used automatically.

Repeat the same steps for Company 2. Go to Settings >> Templates and select the 'Sales: Send Quotation' template. Assign it to Company 2 and customize the content so that quotations sent from Company 2 reflect its unique details and style. This setup ensures clear communication and brand distinction between the two companies.

After setting up the template for Company 1, create a quotation in the Sales module. When you click 'Send by Email', the system will automatically use the customized email template associated with Company 1. This makes sure that customers receive quotations with the correct details and formatting for that company.

Once the quotation is sent from Company 1, the customer will immediately receive an email with the quotation details. This ensures that all information such as prices, products, and company branding is clearly communicated. The screenshot below shows how the quotation email looks when received by the customer, providing confirmation that the process has been completed successfully.

For Company 2, the process is similar. Begin by creating a new quotation from the Sales module. After entering the quotation details, simply click on the 'Send By Email' button. The system will automatically fetch the template linked with Company 2 and prepare the email accordingly. This keeps communication consistent and company-specific.

This is the Mail Template of Company 2. Similar to Company 1, it includes all the required quotation details but is tailored to reflect Company 2's identity, style, and communication preferences. Using dedicated templates for each company ensures accuracy and professional presentation.

Finally, after sending a quotation from Company 2, the customer will receive an email that includes all the quotation details specific to Company 2. This confirms that the system correctly identifies the company and applies the right template. The screenshot below illustrates how the email appears to the recipient, providing assurance that the quotation has been successfully delivered.

Key Features

Users can create company-specific mail templates.
The mail template of the respective company is automatically used when sending emails for any model.
A company can be assigned to only one mail template at a time. If a user assigns the same company to multiple templates simultaneously, an error is shown.
