Kanak Service Appointment

The Kanak Service Appointment module enables customers to book company services online directly through the Odoo eCommerce platform, making service scheduling simple and seamless.

Enable Appointment Availability

To enable a user for service appointments in Odoo, follow these steps:

  1. Go to Settings > Users & Companies > Users and select the desired user.
  2. In the selected user form, open the Access Rights tab.
  3. Under Service Appointment, set the Appointment field to Available.
  4. Click Save to apply the changes.

Enable Appointment Option in Contacts

To make a contact available for appointments, follow these steps:

  1. Navigate to the Contacts app and open any contact record.
  2. Enable the option "Available for Appointment".
  3. Once enabled, tabs such as Appointment Configuration, My Appointments, and My Exceptions will be visible.

Configure Appointment Details

In the Appointment Configuration tab, fill in all necessary configuration details and set the working days and time for the appointment.

Access Appointment Page on Website

Go to Website > Appointment menu to view the appointment booking page online.

Select a Team Member

Choose the team member you want to book an appointment with from the available options.

Calendar View with Time Slots

You can view a calendar with available date and time slots as configured in the backend.
- Time slots where meetings are not allowed appear in disabled grey format.
- Slots that are already booked are also greyed out and cannot be selected for new appointments.

Choose any available time slot to proceed with booking your appointment.

After selecting a time slot, you will see the order summary and can proceed to checkout.

Complete Payment

Click on Pay Now to complete the payment and confirm your appointment.

Once the payment is done, your appointment will be successfully booked.

View My Appointments

Go to Contacts and open the contact you configured earlier. Under the My Appointments tab, you can view all appointments with details such as person, date, time, duration, and state.

Add an Exception

Navigate to the My Exceptions tab and click on Add a line to create an exception.

Fill Exception Information

In the popup, fill in all required details. Ensure that start and end date & time are properly entered. Then click on Save & Close or Save & New to apply the exception.

Exception Time Slots Disabled

Now, go to Website > Appointment, select the same team member, and view the time slots. The slots matching the exception date and time will be disabled and unavailable for booking.
