POS Receipt Builder

POS Receipt Builder helps users create and customize Point of Sale receipt templates using a simple drag-and-drop interface. Add fields, tables, text, logos, images, and widgets to design professional receipt layouts as per business requirements.

To manage Receipt Templates in the Point of Sale app, follow these steps:

1. Open the Point of Sale application.
2. Go to Configuration > Receipt Templates.
3. You can view the list of already configured receipt templates.

To configure a receipt template for a Point of Sale session, follow these steps:

1. Go to Point of Sale > Dashboard.
2. You can view the available Point of Sale sessions.
3. Select your required session and click the three dots available at the top-right corner of the session card.
4. Click on Edit.
5. A configuration popup window will open for the selected session.
6. In the Receipt Template field, select your required receipt template.
7. Click Save to apply the configuration.
8. After saving the configuration, click on Open Register for that session.

To open the Receipt Designer in the Point of Sale session, follow these steps:

1. In the opened Point of Sale session, you can select products, customers, notes, or other required details.
2. After completing the order details, click the three lines icon available at the top-right corner.
3. From the available options, click on Receipt Designer.

The Receipt Studio popup window allows you to customize existing receipt templates or create new receipt templates as per your requirements.

1. On the Left Panel, you can view the list of available receipt fields.
2. In the Middle Panel, you can design and customize the receipt layout.
3. On the Right Panel, you can manage receipt templates and access available customization options.
4. The available widgets include:
   • Text
   • Field
   • Divider
5. You can also add:
   • Receipt Tables for order lines, payments, and taxes
   • Logo/Image elements
6. You can customize the selected receipt template using the drag-and-drop feature.
7. To create a new receipt template, click on New Template available on the Right Panel.
8. Enter your new receipt template name in the provided field.

You can easily add a logo or image to your receipt template using the drag-and-drop feature.

1. Go to the Logo/Image option available in the Right Panel.
2. Drag and drop the Logo/Image component into the Middle Panel.
3. After adding the component, click on it from the Middle Panel.
4. Once selected, the component properties will appear in the Right Panel.
5. From the available properties, click on Choose File to upload your required logo or image.

You can easily add receipt fields using the drag-and-drop feature.

1. Go to the Left Panel to view the list of available fields.
2. Drag and drop the required field from the Left Panel into the Middle Panel.
3. The selected field will be added to the receipt layout for customization.

You can add divider lines to the receipt layout using the Divider widget.

1. Go to the Divider widget option.
2. Drag and drop the Divider widget into the Middle Panel.
3. After adding the Divider component, click on it from the Middle Panel.
4. Once selected, you can edit the Divider properties from the Right Panel.
5. The available Divider properties include:
   • Margin
   • Alignment
   • Style
   • Divider Type
   • Line Style
   • Thickness
   • Width

You can configure and customize the Order Lines table for your receipt template.

1. Go to the Receipt Tables section.
2. Drag and drop the Lines table into the Middle Panel.
3. After adding the table, click on the table component from the Middle Panel.
4. Once selected, you can edit the table properties from the Right Panel.
5. You can add fields as table columns.
6. Each table column can be customized individually with the following properties:
   • Label
   • Field Name
   • Width
   • Alignment
   • Prefix
   • Suffix
7. Inside the table, you can also configure child source rows such as Discount.
8. The child source row properties can also be edited from the Right Panel.

You can also configure taxes, total amount fields, and payment tables in the receipt template.

1. Go to the Receipt Tables section.
2. Drag and drop the Taxes table into the Middle Panel.
3. To add fields such as Amount Total, drag and drop the required field from the available fields list into the Middle Panel.
4. You can also add the Payment Table from the Receipt Tables section.
5. All added components can be customized from the Right Panel.

You can easily change the sequence of receipt components using the drag-and-drop feature.

1. In the Middle Panel, select the component you want to move.
2. Drag and drop the component to the required position within the receipt layout.
3. You can rearrange the sequence of fields, widgets, tables, images, and other receipt components as needed.

You can add custom text to the receipt using the Text widget.

1. Go to the Widgets section.
2. Drag and drop the Text widget into the Middle Panel.
3. After adding the Text component, click on it from the Middle Panel.
4. Once selected, you can edit the Text widget properties from the Right Panel.
5. The available Text properties include:
   • Font Size
   • Margin
   • Alignment
   • Style
   • Content
6. After completing the receipt customization, make sure to click on Save Template.

You can add custom text to the receipt template using the Text widget.

1. Go to the Widgets section.
2. Drag and drop the Text widget into the Middle Panel.
3. After adding the Text component, click on it from the Middle Panel.
4. Once selected, you can edit the Text widget properties from the Right Panel.
5. The available Text widget properties include:
   • Font Size
   • Margin
   • Alignment
   • Style
   • Content
6. After completing the receipt customization, click on Save Template.
7. Finally, click Close to close the popup window.

After completing the receipt template customization, you can process the payment and view the final receipt.

1. Proceed with the payment process in the Point of Sale session.
2. Select the required Payment Type.
3. Enter the payment Amount.
4. Click on Validate to confirm the payment.
5. After validation, the final receipt will be generated based on your customized receipt template.
