Sign-in & Signup Using Mobile OTP Verification
Sign-in & Signup Using Mobile OTP Verification module allows users to securely sign up and log in to the website using their mobile number and One-Time Password (OTP) authentication instead of traditional passwords.
This module enhances user convenience by providing a fast and secure mobile-based authentication system for website users and customers.
SMS OTP Authentication
Few configuration are added to provide validation for OTP used for login and signup
- OTP Expiry (minutes).
- Max Verification Attempts.
- Resend Cooldown (seconds)
- OTP SMS Template
On Login Page there is an option to Login / signup with Mobile SMS.
When the user selects the OTP login option, the Login / Signup with Mobile SMS interface opens, allowing them to enter their mobile number along with the country code. A One-Time Password (OTP) is then sent to the provided mobile number for secure authentication.
After entering the mobile number, an OTP will be sent to the provided mobile number using the selected SMS template.
The OTP validity period (in minutes) can be configured from the backend. Once the configured time expires, the OTP will become invalid.
A resend OTP option is also provided, allowing users to request a new OTP after the configured resend interval set in the backend.
If the user is already registered, they will be logged in directly. Otherwise, they will be redirected to the signup page to complete the registration process.
During signup, the user is required to enter the necessary details that will be used for future login and account access.
Once the user has registered and logged in, they can access their account using either their email and password or mobile OTP authentication.
