The TickTock- QR Based Timer for Tasks (Timesheets) module lets users start and stop task timers by scanning QR codes. It provides a simple and accurate way to track task time in real time.

Using QR Code for Task Timer

To use the QR-based task timer, follow these steps:

  1. Go to Project > Tasks > My Tasks and create a new task.
  2. Enter all required details: Project Name, Project ID, Customer, and Deadline.
  3. Save the task record.
  4. Open the QR Tracking section to view the task's QR code.
  5. Scan the QR code and open the link to start or stop the task timer.

After scanning, you will see the interface showing that the timer has started for the user.

Timer Behavior on QR Scan

Once the timer starts for a user, it will begin counting automatically. If the same user scans the QR code again and opens the link, the timer will stop. Below is the interface shown during this process.

In the task record, under the Timesheets tab, you can view detailed information including the date, employee, and time spent on the task.

QR Code Inactive for Completed Tasks

If a task's state is set to Done, the QR code will no longer be active. Users cannot start or stop the timer for completed tasks. Below is how it appears in the interface.

QR Code Inactive for Cancelled Tasks

If a task's state is set to Cancelled, the QR code will no longer be active. Users cannot start or stop the timer for cancelled tasks. The interface is shown below.
