POS Product BOM(Ingredients)

The POS Product BOM (Ingredients) module enables users to define and manage the ingredients used in the POS restaurant food items. It automatically tracks and updates the inventory of these ingredients in the Kanakinfosystems.com backend.

Product Configuration

To Create a BOM Product, follow these steps:

  1. Navigate to the Products From Point of Sale and enable Is POS BoM Product?.
  2. specify the Unit of Measure.

Open POS Product BoM from the Products menu of Point of Sale and create a new record. Select the BoM product, then set the quantity and Unit of Measure.

Next, add the component products and specify their quantities. Finally, confirm the POS Product BoM to complete the setup.

See the Component Products & On Hand Quantities in Stock of that BOM products components.

Open the POS, add the BoM-configured product to the cart, and proceed with the regular checkout flow.

To view Stock Move changes, open the POS Order from the Orders menu, where you will see the BoM product. Click on the Picking Button to see the component products.
