Bank Charges
Bank Charges module allows to have separate journal entry for the bank charges.
To set up the Bank Charges in Odoo, follow these steps:
- Navigate to the Accounting and click on the Configuration menu.
- Now, Open Journals and create/modify bank type journal.
- Select Bank type and select/create Bank Charges Account.
If you open this account, you can set a percentage based bank charge, which will allow the charge to automatically be calculated on the basis of total invoice amount.
Invoices
Now, create invoice and click on Register Payment button to make payment.
Add bank charges on payment page and click on Validate button.
Journal Entries
In Journal Entries Amount Will Debited From Bank Charges Account And Credited In Bank Account.
